Job DescriptionThe Cafe Assistant at St Andrews Christian College plays a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of the cafe and providing excellent service to staff and students. This position requires a proactive individual with a passion for customer service and a willingness to contribute to the overall positive atmosphere of the school environment. Responsibilities:
Assist in food preparation and presentation, ensuring high standards of quality and hygiene are maintained at all times.Manage inventory and supplies, including ordering, receiving, and organizing stock to ensure efficient operations.Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming customers, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and handling transactions accurately.Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the cafe area, including cleaning tables, equipment, and ensuring a tidy environment for customers.Collaborate with other cafe staff to coordinate tasks effectively and support each other during busy periods.Adhere to health and safety regulations while handling food items and operating equipment in the cafe.This role offers an opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to contribute positively to the St Andrews Christian College community through their dedication to delivering high-quality service in a friendly and welcoming manner.
