Status: Temporary, Full-Time (1.0 FTE) (Approximately 24 months) Salary range: $21,520.20 - $38,656.80 per annum dependent on years out of school.
Opportunity: The City of Albany's Natural Reserves Team is looking for a motivated individual to take up the role of Conservation and Ecosystem Management (CAEM) Trainee.
Reporting to the Natural Reserves Supervisor this role will see you supporting the City of Albany's Reserves Team by carrying out a range of maintenance tasks.
The focus is on ensuring the City's natural reserves are maintained to an environmentally safe, tidy, and visually appealing standard.
About You: The successful completion of Year 10 Secondary High School, a National Police Clearance and a 'C' Class Driver's Licence or working toward obtaining one are essential for this role.
You will also need to have excellent interpersonal skills, physical fitness capable of undertaking manual labour and basic oral, written and numeracy skills and a passion for conservation and land management.
You will be required to attend all face-to-face sessions and complete all assignments required to obtain a Certificate III and IV in Conservation and Ecosystem Management If you meet the above requirements, have a strong interest in natural reserves development and are passionate about working for the City of Albany, please apply.
