Leading Flight Training Organisation- based at Moorabbin Airport We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organised HR & Payroll Administrator to join our team.
The Role Report to HR Business Partner, the role provides essential HR administration and payroll support. As our Payroll and HR administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operations of payroll processes and supporting HR functions by maintaining payroll accuracy, HRIS management, supporting recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and other administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities Payroll Administrator Ensure end-to-end accurate and timely fortnightly payroll processing Address payroll-related questions and resolve discrepancies Maintain Payroll records, leave entitlements, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation Generate payroll reports, leave balance reports, and any other report as needed HR Administrator Updating and maintaining employee records and files on the HRIS, ensuring compliance with all legal and company standards Assist with recruitment tasks including scheduling interviews, and preparing employment contracts Administer employee onboarding and offboarding to ensure smooth transitions Perform document verifications to ensure compliance with role-specific requirements Perform any additional HR duties as assigned Supporting HR Manager on review of company policies, position descriptions, and other areas of continuous improvement as identified About You Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role Proficiency in managing HRIS and payroll systems, with strong administrative and organisational skills High level of attention to detail in managing and documenting employee data Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Knowledge of payroll processes and superannuation legislation Understanding/Interpretation of awards and legislative requirements Able to prioritise and work autonomously and as a team within the deadline Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management is desirable CAE offers a dynamic and supportive work culture with a great team environment and opportunity for growth within HR & Payroll.
