We are seeking the services of an experienced and reliable individual to work in our CAD programming department.
Our commercial doors and framing business is based in Campbellfield and services the commercial building industry.You will be a member of a supportive team with ongoing training and exposure to a variety of opportunities to support your development.
Key Responsibilities:Produce clear and easy to read CAD drawings for manufacturingRun the CNC machine software to create cutting programs to achieve customer drawing requirementsMaintain a working knowledge of a range of manufacturing processes and materialsPerform basic preventative maintenance of the CNC machineConduct product trialsOperate CNC Turret if requiredCreate production documents and work ordersProvide general production office support as requiredEssential Skills and Experience:Sound experience and good productivity with 2D and 3D CAD to produce clear and easy to read drawings and manufacturing documentation2+ years of experience programming CNC software to create cutting programsWorking knowledge of a range of composite manufacturing processes and materialsGood working knowledge of MS Office, particularly ExcelAbility to manage time and work under pressure while maintaining precisionAbility to work as part of a team and autonomouslyAbility to adhere to company policies and proceduresAttention to safety, quality, and efficiencyDesirable Skills and Experience:Experience in the steel frame industry, specifically turret programmingExperience with Solidworks packageExperience with CADMAN or similar program, particularly for turretTo be successful in this role, you will be energetic, motivated, and ready for teamwork.
