Wormald are a leading provider of High Security Alarm Systems, Access Control Systems and CCTV Systems.
Based in Fyshwick – Canberra, Wormald Security are seeking a CAD Draftsperson with Electrical, Comms, AV or Security background.
We will support and develop the right candidate.

Reporting directly to the Engineering Team Lead, you will work alongside Security System Designers, Engineers, Project Managers, and highly experienced field specialists on a range of exciting projects ranging from tenancy fit outs to major infrastructure projects across Canberra and Nationally.

You will receive training and mentoring through all phases of the design process.

To be successful, you will need demonstrable experience in:

Working in both the 2D and 3D Drafting formats.

Reading and comprehending applicable Australian Standards and applying requirements to projects.

Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel to a superior level.

Working in a team environment.

Pre-emptive problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.

Self-motivation with high levels of energy and enthusiasm.

A strong commitment to safety, quality, environment, and customer relationships.

Prior experience from within the building services and construction industry.
