Cad Drafting / Steel Detailer

Join our fast-growing shade structure manufacturing business on the Sunshine Coast. We are expanding and looking for an experienced draftsperson / steel detailer to join our friendly team.Applicants must be experienced using AutoCAD or similar programs and steel knowledge would be an advantage.Main duties will include:Drafting and designing steel shade structures for commercial, industrial and mining purposes.Producing accurate fabrication drawings for manufacture.Using design skills to overcome fabrication and manufacturing challenges.Producing drawings for clients as required to assist with sales.Preparing bill of materials for manufacture.Producing and submitting engineer certificates for approval.The successful applicant will have the following skills / experience:AutoCAD, or a similar drafting programExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)The ability to analyseTime managementPunctual with a good work ethicReliability and honestyExcellent attention to detailMicrosoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, and WordImmediate start.How do your skills match this job?Your application will include the following questions:How many years' experience do you have as a Steel Detailer?Which of the following Microsoft Office products are you experienced with?Which of the following CAD software do you have experience with?Do you have fabrication experience?Do you have a current Australian driver's licence?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a Structural Steel Detailer?#J-18808-Ljbffr
