12-month contract – Possibility to Extend$54.20 p/h + SuperParramatta Location35 Hour Work Week – 7 Hours Per DayFlexible Work ModelThis NSW Government agency is seeking an experienced 2D Design Drafter to join the Dams Engineering team. Given your extensive experience, the chosen candidate will engage in advanced civil and mechanical 2D drafting tasks related to dams and infrastructure projects. By leveraging your background in civil and mechanical design drafting, you'll contribute significantly to the organisation. About The Role Prepare detailed civil 2D CAD design drawings for dam infrastructure, encompassing intake towers, access bridge extensions, outlet tunnels, and valve chambers.Develop 2D CAD mechanical design drawings for various components (such as pipework, trash racks, etc.) associated with dam structures.Create civil 2D CAD design drawings for pumping stations and inlet structures with a focus on detailed design.Generate mechanical tender drawings in 2D CAD format for components (e.g., pipework, valves, etc.) pertaining to the pump station.Produce detailed 2D CAD mechanical design drawings for components (e.g., pipework, operating platforms, trash racks, etc.) relevant to the inlet structure.Offer advanced technical guidance to engineers utilising contemporary engineering design software like AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.Play a part in shaping and executing inventive engineering solutions for the department and its clientele.Skills & Experience Hold a Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or an equivalent qualification).Prior experience in creating drawings for dam projects would be beneficial for this position.Showcase at least 6 years of extensive experience across various Civil and Mechanical engineering infrastructure projects.Exhibit advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation software.Demonstrate a solid understanding and practical application of engineering design standards relevant to civil and mechanical projects.How to Apply
