A Legal Compliance Associate is responsible for coordinating and managing every phase of statutory compliance management from researching to preparing compliance registers to conducting audits. Ideal compliance researchers should enjoy researching and drafting compliance notes and demonstrating excellent attention to detail. In addition to being an excellent communicator, you should also possess in-depth knowledge of general regulations and legal terminology.
Main Duties and Responsibilities: Create a list of license/permits/registration required for clients to address issues in relation to services provided by the client to its customer. Create Compliance checklist for applicable laws and regulations in the USA and Australia. Support the client with advice of legal compliance around Insurance. Provide clarification to the clients in respect of queries raised on the laws, regulations. Requirements: A law degree from an accredited law school. Minimum of two years of experience in Regulatory compliance. Has understanding on how laws are required to be identified. Minimum of two years of experience in the BFSI sector is good to have. Strong understanding of the legal framework governing the BFSI sector is good to have.
