We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Cabler and Field Technician to support our operations in Melbourne.
Applicants with an Open Cabler Registration, including Structured and Fibre Optic Cabling Endorsements, are preferred.

This position is initially a Casual position for 2-3 days per week, but we would hope that the right person would develop into all aspects of the role to warrant a Full-Time Technician position at some future point.
The hourly rate initially offered will be dependent upon your existing skills and experience.
Tasks would include:
Preparing tools and materials for work.Installation of conduit and cabling in new and existing buildings.Installation of electronic field equipment.Assisting other technicians with the installation and servicing of various items of networking equipment and electronic system components.Skills and Experience:
Clear verbal and written communication skills.Australian Citizen or entitlement to work in Australia.Enthusiastic and honest with a can-do attitude.Aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies.Willingness to undertake a broad range of tasks that are required by the role.Experience with computers, Windows operating system environments and MS Office Applications would be an advantage.Experience in the use of basic hand tools and common power tools.Construction Induction Card or White Card.Australian Drivers Licence (including entitlement and capability to drive a manual vehicle).Working with Children Card, or the ability to obtain one.Must be able to satisfy the requirements of a National Police Check.If this sounds like your next position, please apply now with your resume and a covering letter.
