We are seeking experienced Cabler (for Data and Telecommunications) to join our Sydney team!
Job DescriptionWhy join our team? Permanent full-time opportunity.Mondays to Fridays work week.Ongoing personal and professional training and development programs.Pay increases per year.Social gatherings and activities.Company provided PPE and Uniform.The duties include, but are not limited to: Assess and communicate a clear methodology for work activities.Provide clear tasks for each team member on the job.Plan the job methodology and solve a cabling issue on a site.Maintain a high level of workmanship on the worksite.Maintain technical knowledge and up to date with cabling regulations.
Set up wiring for telephone, radio, pay TV, and computer transmission.Connect wires and cables to various appliances.Modify, substitute, and fix defective items, and conduct equipment tests with electronic tools.Mentor and coach Cert III Telecommunications apprentices and new technicians / cablers.Take ownership of allocated tasks and duties.Ability to read design drawings and specifications.Planning the job methodology.Maintaining timesheets and tracking hours on the job.Responsible for the company's tools, equipment, and vehicles, by keeping them clean and in good proper working order.Contribute to the effectiveness of the HSEQ systems to ensure compliance, ongoing improvement, and customer focus throughout day to day work.Assess and adhere to WHS on site.Using interpersonal skills to support a positive work culture.Clearly communicate job progress to the supervisor.Timely completion of job-related documentation.Ability to follow the project managers and supervisor's instructions.Manage client concerns and requirements on site.What you will need to have as a minimum: Must have an ACMA licence (or equivalent) with endorsements of Structured and Fibre Optics.Have a minimum of 5 years of experience within the electrical and communications, specifically working within data centres.Can work as part of a team or independently.Are proactive and have problem solving attributes.Are willing to be part of an on-call roster.Have excellent safety awareness and meticulous attention to detail, to maintain a high standard of workmanship.If you have the above skills and are looking for an exciting and rewarding career with a leading Company apply online today!
