About the opportunity Due to growth, we are seeking CABLEBOLT OPERATORS for permanent, full-time positions on a 7:7 roster FIFO ex Perth.
The role includes Able to read technical documents, such as mine plans, work instructions and specifications.Ability to drill and install on inclines, declines and level excavations.Able to assess ground conditions and implement ground controls as per the site requirements.Able to set up and operate Cablebolter rig to produce a designated pattern of Cablebolts, ensuring sufficient ground support is applied.What do I need? A minimum of 5 years underground mining experience.Proven experience on Cablebolt rigs.A solid understanding and commitment to Health & Safety.Have a valid driver's license.Valid Working at Heights Certification.Be able to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A screen.Be able to provide a National Police clearance.The Westgold Offer:
