About the Role This position is responsible for managing the department's Cabinet Committee business.
It is also responsible for providing specialist advice to the Ministers' offices, the Secretary, Executives and senior staff on Cabinet processes and protocols.
Provide support for the department's Cabinet, Cabinet Committees and legislative processes, including coordinating and preparing documents and maintaining sound records management of confidential and sensitive material.Liaise with and provide high quality advice to senior departmental staff, Ministers' offices, other Victorian Government Departments and particularly the central agencies of the Department of Premier and Cabinet and the Department of Treasury and Finance on all DTP related Cabinet and Cabinet Committee matters.Ensure the department's Cabinet in Confidence (CIC) material is of a high quality and meets internal and DPC compliance requirements in regard to timeframes and format.Build and maintain effective relationships for gathering and disseminating information within DTP, Cabinet Secretariat, the Ministers' Offices and other government departments.Assist with the training and development of Cabinet Services staff in the full range of tasks undertaken by the unit and deliver training sessions to DTP staff on process matters.Continually update and improve internal processes that enhance capacity to deliver an effective and efficient service.Provide support across the Governance & Portfolio Services Division as required.Key Selection Criteria In this role, you'll leverage Partnering and Co-creation to build strong, effective relationships with clients, customers, and the community, ensuring their insights drive problem-solving and solution development.
