#DAFcareers.The Cabinet Legislation and Liaison Officer (CLLO) works from within the Office of the Director General to lead and manage Cabinet, Executive Council and Parliamentary business on behalf of the department.
This is an integral role for our organisation, working closely with senior leaders and policy officers to provide advice on the implications of recommendations contained in Cabinet documents, including draft legislation, and deliver outcomes for our stakeholders.As the Cabinet Legislation and Liaison Officer, you will provide high level advice and timely information to the Minister, Ministerial staff, the Director-General and senior departmental officers on a regular basis as well as within other government agencies including the Department of the Premier and Cabinet.Further duties include:Coordinate material prepared for consideration, and manage the flow of information between the department, other departments, the Minister, Cabinet, Executive Council and Parliament.Supervise the preparation and submission of Cabinet, Executive Council or Parliamentary documents relevant to the Minister's responsibilities to ensure quality content, relevance and appropriateness and that these documents have been developed in accordance with government guidelines.Provide procedural advice and manage the provision of support services for the operation of Cabinet including maintaining storage, security and control of Cabinet documents.Applications to remain current for 12 months.Further informationWe are committed to building inclusive cultures in the Queensland public sector that respect and promote human rights and diversity.Please ensure you download all attachments and follow the instructions on how to apply.DocumentsBefore applying for this vacancy please ensure you read the documents below.KeywordPlease use * for wildcard searches.Search exact phraseCheck to search for the exact phrase.
