Our team is committed to excellence, innovation, and the successful delivery of projects that shape communities.Role Overview:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contracts Administrator / Project Accountant to join our dynamic team in Brisbane. In this dual role, you will play a crucial part in the financial and contractual management of our civil construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities:Contracts Administration:Prepare, review, and manage contracts and subcontracts.Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.Manage variations, claims, and contract disputes.Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.Project Accounting:Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.Prepare and analyze financial reports, including cost-to-complete and cash flow forecasts.Manage project invoicing, progress claims, and accounts payable/receivable.Assist with project audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.Key Requirements:Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Proven experience in contracts administration and project accounting, preferably within the civil construction industry.Strong understanding of contract law, construction contracts, and financial management.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail.What We Offer:Competitive salary package up to $120,000 (including superannuation).Opportunity to work on significant infrastructure projects in Brisbane and beyond.Career development and growth opportunities within a leading construction firm.Supportive and collaborative work environment.How to Apply:If you are a proactive and detail-oriented professional looking for a challenging and rewarding role in the civil construction industry, we want to hear from you!
