Home to the Space Surveillance Telescope (SST), the C-Band RADAR and Very Low Frequency (VLF) radio transmission capability, together these systems add a critical contribution to Australia's space domain awareness and battlespace awareness missions.

Reporting to the Space System Supervisor (C-Band RADAR), you will be responsible for conducting maintenance, technical investigations, supporting configuration change activities, actioning customer requests, and additional tasks to support both program and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities Performing planned and corrective maintenance on the C-Band RADAR System and associated Subsystems Maintenance planning and reporting RADAR calibrations and interpretation of results Working in a LINUX system environment Technical report writing Logistics support Maintaining strong relationships with domestic and international stakeholders Skills, Experience and Qualifications A minimum of a Certificate IV in Electronics (Communications or Control) or relevant technical discipline Defence/Maritime Radar, Combat System, Complex Communication and/or Mechanical System experience Excellent analytical/fault-finding skills Ability to confidently operate and interpret data from a wide range of test equipment Candidates must be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance (NV1).
