The Positions: We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced C8 Maintenance Fitters for preventative maintenance work on plastic extruders, gear boxes, conveyors, rollers and bearings in the Braeside area. Restricted Electrical License required. Welding skills required Mig and Arc.
You will be required to work shifts up to 7.6 hours per day with OT thereafter, and Saturdays may be required to meet maintenance outcomes. Must have or be willing to obtain REL or Restricted Electrical License. Also looking for C8 Fitters for Night Shift with restricted electrical license and leadership skills highly regarded.
You will be joining our existing team on site, and you must be a suitably qualified Maintenance Fitter with industrial experience within the manufacturing/plastics recycling sector in preventative maintenance. Self-starter with mechanical aptitude to work on own or in a team environment with attention to detail.
The Role Requirements: We are seeking fully qualified Fitters with Indentured or Cert 3 in Fitting and Machining and a minimum of 2 years' experience working in the manufacturing sector. Restricted electrical license required or willing to acquire with reimbursement after 6 months. Supervisory skills also required.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and lateral thinking with an analytical eye for problem solving, and able to read drawings & schematics. Preventative maintenance on plastics extruders and conveyors, pumps and gear boxes, shredders, bearings experience is highly regarded and welding Mig and Arc also required. Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment. Working at Height, EWP and Forklift License required with recent industrial experience.
