Brisbane Northside based Retirement & Aged Care provider $ Attractive salary plus salary sacrifice options Challenging role leading teams, projects and transformation Our client is a well-established and extremely well-regarded provider of Residential & Aged Care Services in Queensland. The organization is in a period of transition and transformation and seeks to hire a like-minded finance professional to support them on this journey.
The Head of Finance position is a newly created role that combines Financial Control and Financial Planning & Analysis functions, will assist to establish robust financial frameworks and controls, lead a diverse team of approximately 25, oversee financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and deliver significant finance and systems transformation.

Key Responsibilities will include: Strategic Financial Leadership: Supporting the Head of Corporate Services link financial objectives with business goals and lead all financial planning & reporting cycles; Financial Control & Compliance: Ensuring regulatory compliance and manage all statutory accounting requirements, including audits; Management & Board Reporting: Producing insightful management / Board reporting and ensure proactive, value-add finance business partnering; Budgeting and Forecasting: Coordinating budgeting & forecasting cycles plus strong cash flow management; Commercial Management: Analysis of financial metrics, enhancing planning processes and using data insights to support executive decision making; Finance Systems Transformation: Leading a program of finance transformation including continuous improvement initiatives across people, systems and processes; Financial Team Leadership: Mentoring and developing the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration. What is required: Qualifications: Degree in Finance/Accounting, CA or CPA. Experience: 10+ years leading teams, including financial control, Financial Planning & Analysis and transactional teams. Skills: Proven leadership in challenging environments, process improvement, ERP/payroll/OCR software skills. Personal Attributes: Resilience, problem solving, effective communication and a sense of humour.
