We're looking for a long-term talented employee who really wants to play a key role and if career progression is what you're after, then we've got you!What you'll be doing:As a Buying Assistant working for Kmart, you will support our Buyers in sourcing the best possible products that bring meaningful moments into our customer's lives.
Some of the key responsibilities are: Supporting the department by ensuring all data entry information is accurate, up to date & maintained Managing the product registration process after sign off - from keycode creation to sampling and packaging coordinationLiaising with and supporting a local supply base as well as working day-to-day with our overseas sourcing teamProvide market insights by assessing the competitive set on a regular basis and feedback to the teamManaging all marketing and coordination of samples for all advertising, including online To be successful in this role: We're looking for a driven, efficient and enthusiastic individual who will bring a curious mind-set and a passion for all things retail and general merchandise!
You love delivering product, customers are always front of mind and building and managing relationships with a variety of key stakeholders is one of your strengths.
