This role ensures that product assortments meet the financial, customer, and brand objectives through close collaboration with the Head of Buying, design, planning and production teams.Key AccountabilitiesServe as the voice and advocate for the customer, conducting research into market trends and competitors to understand the customer and inform buying decisionsEstablish a compelling and differentiated product assortment, in conjunction with design and planning counterparts, that resonates with target customers in terms of fashion, quality, style, price point and perceived valueDisplay entrepreneurial approach to the business and proactively seeking and suggesting opportunities to improve the product range to drive financial performance and maximise salesDeliver Product Assortments that can drive overall Category/ Channel goals – driving the commerciality of the Product Ranges to ensure they deliver sales/Brand metrics.Ensure Category Product Assortments/Ranges meet all Margin KPI's in collaboration with Prod Dev counterparts. Facilitate innovation in Category Product mixes through Range assortments to maximise Category salesContribute towards SWOT and post seasonal product review meetings, making recommendations. Including reviewing Best and Worst sellers, style, print and colour analysisLiaise with counterparts to review weekly trading.
