We're currently looking for an outgoing and motivated Buyer Planner to be part of a dynamic team who oversee our successful portfolio of contract manufacturing.
Working exclusively with our outsourced manufacturers and supply chain colleagues, you'll determine requirements, identify preferred suppliers, agree commercial terms and project manage for a successful launch.
A day in the life… Reporting to the Commercial & Logistics Manager, key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Establish the sourcing strategy and conduct activities for each project.Lead the Supplier negotiation process.Manage contractual processes, including confidentiality, trial and manufacturing agreements.Manage the materials handling of inventory from Nestlé sites through to the contract manufacturers and returns.Drive and implement risk management strategies to ensure on-going supply of outsourced products.Foster a strategic approach to Supplier management (Supplier Review Process) and deliver benefit through Supplier Relationship Management tools and initiatives (including overseas Suppliers).Challenge stakeholders to ensure optimal arrangements/decisions are implemented/made.What will make you successful Joining a collaborative team of specialists, you will be a strong team player with a drive to deliver quality outcomes with efficiency and with a passion for continuous process improvement.Degree qualification in Business/Supply Chain/Finance/Logistics/Engineering /Science/Food technology or a related field of study.Experience in manufacturing processes, raw and packaging materials.SAP experience, advanced excel, power BI knowledge and project management is advantageous.Ability to influence, negotiate and facilitate change.Ability to work efficiently, manage time and prioritize workload.Ability to work autonomously, within a team environment and with all levels of seniority.You will be able to confidently communicate with corporate, factory/ supply chain and external stakeholders.Applicants will be required to undergo pre-employment checks, including but not limited to health checks, prior to appointment to this role.
