THE OPPORTUNITY Reporting into the Senior Buyer and being supported by a Buying Assistant, this is an opportunity for an experienced Buyer to join the team for a 12 month maternity leave cover contract.
As a Buyer, you'll drive our vision for fashion-forward, responsibly sourced products that meet the needs of our customers.
You'll forecast trends, develop ranges, and collaborate with the Planning Department to implement strategic pricing and size strategies that optimise sales and profitability.
From trend analysis to final quality checks, your role will ensure every piece we produce resonates with our audience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Forecast and develop trends into a commercial product line that reflects our brand's DNA and customer base. Build a range of responsibly sourced products, presenting these to cross-functional teams and ensuring our offering meets customer expectations. Regularly analyse trade results to enhance bestsellers and manage underperforming items, leveraging markdowns and promotions.
Stay up-to-date with market trends through competitor analysis and store visits. Partner with the Planning team to establish seasonal strategies, determine pricing, and optimise product quantities for optimal sell-through. Lead fit sessions to confirm garment construction, fabric choice, and style execution, approving supplier submissions and checking production samples for quality. Work closely with our QA, Marketing, Production, and VM teams to ensure smooth handovers and alignment across all departments. Approving artwork, and ensuring complete, clear tech packs for each style. Source appropriate fabrics and trims, maintaining target margins and working with multi-regional suppliers to expand our manufacturing network. ABOUT YOU You bring exceptional expertise in fabrications, raw materials, product categories, and garment construction, coupled with strong commercial acumen and sound business judgement.
With proven experience in leading and growing teams, you excel in managing relationships across multi-region suppliers and markets, ensuring smooth collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:
Minimum 5 years of buying experience. Proficient across Adobe CC Suite (Photoshop, inDesign, Illustrator) Relevant tertiary qualification in Fashion Design/ Buying or equivalent.
