I am excited to announce an opening for aBuyer to join a growing Procurement team based inDeeside . If you have a background in manufacturing, experience in purchasing raw materials and a strong understanding of the Procurement process; I'd want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities: Maintain supply of key materials, maximizing volume purchasing benefits. Develop supplier strategiesto ensure quality and efficiency. Meet target costswithout compromising on quality. Undertakestrategic sourcing activitiesusing established business tools and templates. Support the development and communication ofsourcing strategiesshaping purchasing decisions. Purchase goods, materials, components, or services aligning with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets. Monitor market trends and supply chain strategies ensuring competitiveness. Provide analysis on costs and engage in cost reduction activities. Collaborate with the procurement team to explore opportunities for continuous business improvements. Key Attributes: Team player with the ability to contribute both individually and as part of a team. Self confidence with strong interpersonal skills, an excellent communicator with the ability to liase with people at all levels. Flexibility and ability to multitask. Self motivated with a "hands on" results driven approach. Strong systems skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Experience in a buying / negotiation role. CIPS qualification or similar. ERP experience ideally SAP If you would like to develop and manage contractual relationships with key suppliers, managing business risk while developing synergies either locally or within the group.
