ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for an experienced trend lead and driven Buyer to lead our vision within our Cotton On Kids Girls team. You will be responsible for leading the Denim, Jackets, Knits and Swim category, working alongside the other Girls Buyers, and working with our Trend team to deliver on big ideas and key lifestyle items that align with our brand DNA and which our customers love. You will contribute to department reviews, apply learnings to category decision making and chase growth opportunities to ensure the success and profitability of our brand. You will collaborate with Production and support your Buying team to deliver on products that are in line with category strategies and which are compliant and cost-effective. If you are someone who is customer obsessed, is passionate about leading and developing people and loves developing and buying amazing products that make a difference, then this could be your new role SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Tertiary qualification / degree in relevant field i.e. Buying • Proven experience working within a similar Buyer/Category Buyer role • Demonstrated experience working with production, trends and buying teams to achieve strategy visions • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to coach and lead a team • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate to internal and external stakeholders with confidence • Strong organisation, planning and time management skills • Ability to make confident decisions that will determine the success of the brand • Proficient capabilities in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel OUR CULTURE Our team members are a fun and playful group of people, and never take ourselves too seriously.
