Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent/higher qualification as recognized by ACECQA). A current and valid Working with Children's Check . First Aid certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis. Current & valid Australian Work Rights. Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS) to ensure quality education and outcomes. Previous experience as a Lead Educator/Room Leader required (1+ years' experience minimum). Proven leadership skills in guiding and mentoring educators in early childhood settings. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with children, families, colleagues, and management. Experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating tailored educational programs. Ability to foster positive, collaborative relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Previous experience as a Lead Educator or Room Leader, with the ability to support children with diverse needs. Proficient in using software for documentation, family communication, and educational planning.
