Business Support Officer- Information ManagementIWC has an exciting opportunity for a Part-Time up to Full-Time Business Support Officer- Information Management.ABOUT IWC:IWC is an Aboriginal community-controlled and multi-accredited health and wellbeing organisation that delivers services without discrimination to Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Bundaberg and the Wide Bay Burnett.ABOUT THE POSITION:This person will work with the Information Services Team and be responsible for collecting, maintaining, and ensuring the integrity, quality, and relevance of data and information relevant to organizational requirements. This role also extends support to the Business Services department.DUTIES:Quality AuditsData Entry Standards and terminology guides, training, and work instructions.Assisting with implementing new programs and services.Corporate Information Management, including collection, maintenance use and disposal of records.Support the creation of new forms and processes to support operational needs.Provide administration and support to other corporate departments, including the People and Culture, and Business Services.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, information systems, and database software.Strong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent problem-solving and analytical abilitiesDemonstrated ability to work independently whilst functioning within a team setting.Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations including the Privacy Act 1988 regarding data protection and information management.KEY REQUIREMENTS:A current driver's licence is essential or ability to obtain.A First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain.A Blue Card (Working with Children Card QLD)* or ability to obtain.A Federal Police Check or ability to obtain.* No Card, No Start legislation means that the successful applicant will need to hold a valid blue card before they start work.
