The Department for Child Protection is seeking a Business Support Officer to join the Whyalla office on a full-time term basis.
Role Responsibilities :
Maintaining staff records, preparing reports, minutes, and employment contract letters, and providing advice on a range of personnel procedures and related issues.
Assisting with budget and cash flow projections, budget preparation, salary estimates, cash flow, and monthly expenditure reports.
Arranging servicing and appropriate maintenance of fleet vehicles in line with agency policies.
Maintaining office equipment, stationery, and office systems.
About You :
We are looking for an organised individual who is able to demonstrate attention to detail, organise priorities, and meet deadlines.
You will have experience in providing administrative support, facilities, and records management in order to deliver quality and timely services and experience with the Microsoft Office suite of software.
With a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, you will work collaboratively with a range of relevant stakeholders to develop effective working relationships.
If you can manage a high and varied workload, organise priorities, and take initiative, then this may be the role for you.

The Whyalla office has a full-time equivalent of 35 employees and is one of 6 offices in the region. As a member of this team, you will work with other professionals to deliver services to young people and families in the Whyalla Region.
