Why This Role? The Business Development Team at Mining Plus provides vital support to our technical personnel, forming a committed and innovative global team. We handle functions such as accounts, commercial activities, project control, IT, business systems, HSEQ, and marketing.
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this position will support the administration functions of the business. While the primary focus will be on general administration activities within Australia, the position will also involve exposure to global administrative tasks.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Personnel Profile Management: Own the process of creating and renewing personnel profiles (with training provided) Expense Claims: Process reimbursement for expense claims Travel Coordination: Book domestic and international travel, as well as accommodations Event and Conference Organization: Arrange company events and manage conference registrations Office Stock Management: Manage office stock for assets, equipment, uniforms, and resources for both new and departing employees Asset Management: Lead the Australia Asset Management process, including placing CAPEX orders for new stock CDMS: Maintain and manage the company's CDMS Intranet Updates: Update intranet content, including document templates and document control for proposals, reports, and personal profiles Monthly Audits: Perform audits such as IT user lists, invoice approvals, and employee phone plans HR Assistance: Assist with HR responsibilities, including scheduling pre-employment medicals, allocating assets to employees, conducting Admin inductions, managing onboarding and offboarding tasks, and providing general payroll and recruitment support as required General Office Administration: Undertake various administrative and management tasks to support the overall function of the office Required Qualifications/Experience: Eligibility to Work: You are legally entitled to live and work in Australia Experience: You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Administration Industry Knowledge: Experience in the mining or technical services industry is highly regarded Technical Skills: You are highly proficient in Microsoft Office and possess an intuitive understanding of databases, systems and other platforms Communication Skills: You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and feel confident communicating with various stakeholders Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, numerical ability, and data entry skills are essential Confidentiality: You can handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality Autonomy & Proactivity: You can work independently and approach tasks with a proactive, problem-solving mindset We also offer a range of employee benefits including:
