Chandler Macleod are seeking an experienced Business Support Officer to join our client for a full time temporary role starting in December for a 3 month assignment.
Key Responsibilities of this role will include but not be limited to: Process invoices Coordinate accommodation bookings and meeting logistics Organize meetings, including managing venues, preparing meeting papers and recording minutes.
Maintain accurate records and databases Prepare quality written materials, such as correspondence, reports, and briefings, within set timelines.
Assist in developing and maintaining documents, correspondence, and databases to ensure compliance with timelines and policies.
Support the creation and review of communication materials including updating digital and social media content.
Contribute to defined projects or components of larger initiatives by researching, implementing strategies, and maintaining administrative processes.
To be suitable for this role you will have: Proven ability to prepare professional briefs, letters, emails, and reports with accuracy and clarity.
Previous experience in a state government role highly desired Strong analytical and reporting skills with excellent attention to detail and stakeholder relationship management.
High-level interpersonal skills with a focus on effective communication, both oral and written.
Adaptability and a proactive approach to managing changing priorities and meeting deadlines in high-pressure situations Tertiary qualification in business, finance, communications, public policy, event management, or a related field.
Experience working with an independent statutory authority, Aboriginal organization, or board.
Knowledge of issues relevant to Victorian Traditional Owners, including cultural heritage and native title, is highly regarded.
A current driver's license is desirable.
