Business Support Officer

Chandler Macleod are seeking a Business Support officer to join our client based in Mulgrave for a full time temporary position starting ASAP until the end of January 2025.
Key Responsibilities of this role will include but not be limited to:  Record, manage, and distribute correspondence and tasks.
Maintain high standards of documentation, systems, processes, and records across the department.
Prepare and format correspondence, notices, briefing notes, agendas, minutes, and other documents as required.
Respond to internal and external inquiries, provide basic advice or escalating issues promptly.
Research and compile statistical data to prepare accurate reports.
Provide comprehensive administrative support to leadership team and staff.
Arrange and coordinate meetings, including room bookings, catering, vehicles, and other resources.
Identify and propose ideas for continuous improvement, escalating suggestions for consideration and endorsement.
To be successful in this role, you will need: Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Proficiency in using corporate systems and tools to manage administrative tasks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
A collaborative mindset, with a willingness to share knowledge and support team objectives.
Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
