About the role: A highly rewarding opportunity to join Box Hill Institute as the Business Support Officer to the Dean of our Higher Education College!
The Business Support Officer is responsible for managing the administrative and financial functions of the Higher Education College, ensuring efficient delivery of services and compliance with relevant standards.
This role includes overseeing financial reporting, managing student administration processes, and contributing to the Colleges operational strategies. The position also involves coordinating with external stakeholders to ensure the Colleges academic and commercial objectives are met.
The role reports to the Dean of Higher Education College and works closely with internal stakeholders to support the Colleges vision of maintaining a reputation for quality education and training.
This position is full time, ongoing based at Nelson Campus in Box Hill. Salary is PACCT 7 $91,125.82 excluding superannuation. About You: A relevant qualification in a Business Administration or Financial Management discipline or equivalent Extensive experience in managing business support employees and a range of administrative services including student administration, budget planning and monitoring and financial administration Strong skills in computer and financial systems including ability to develop and implement procedures to ensure consistent use of these systems within a team Ability to ensure achievement of successful team outcomes and the development of a high performing team within a large organisation Demonstrated analytical and conceptual skills to reason through problems and develops innovative solutions to improve business process Proven success in implementing strategies and utilise a variety of tailored influencing approaches, effectively negotiating with stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes Proven ability to make rational and sound decisions based on consideration of the facts and the alternatives, sometimes with incomplete information About Us: We are proud to be a leading education provider with a strong reputation for delivering high quality educational outcomes.
