About the Role The Business Support Officer (BSO) is an administrative 'all-rounder' providing outstanding stakeholder support across the organisation within a newly developed shared service model. You will provide administrative support for the transition of services from NT Government to Red Lily Health. This position will focus on transition business and be part of the administrative support team at Red Lily Health.
The BSO works under the direction of the Business Manager by ensuring organisational support to both clinical, non-clinical, corporate team members and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to Transition Manager for the transition of services from NT Government to Red Lily Health Provide support to management and Board and business meetings, including room bookings and set up of video and teleconference facilities, preparation of papers and minute taking Maintain the Asset Register and manage asset movements and disposal processes Maintain Vehicle Register and coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs as required Assist in the management of staff housing including document and inventory control Create content and maintain Red Lily social media sites and the monthly newsletter Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages Coordinate travel arrangements including flights and accommodation Order and restock office supplies Coordinate and manage documents and set up in SharePoint/Intranet Assist with the administration of business and corporate support services functions, including finance, human resource and information technology Travel to remote communities by car or light aircraft when required to attend meetings and undertake necessary administrative duties Adopt a continuous improvement approach in establishing business systems and processes Other duties as required from time to time consistent with the level of the position as directed by your Manager Key Selection Criteria Essential Certificate IV in relevant discipline or subject Demonstrated high level administration skills, including an ability to work under pressure, complete tasks within required time frames, work in a team environment and independently and flexibly, be self-motivated, exercise initiative with attention to detail High level customer service and interpersonal skills, well developed written and oral communication and a proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, suitable to a cross cultural and intersectoral environment Proven reliability, discretion, confidentiality, and the ability to discern sensitive issues and adapt to change Demonstrated financial, procurement and organisational skills including sound computer literacy and experience using standard Microsoft Office programs; records management procedures, protocols and practice; and ability to manage and prioritise tasks such as report writing to deliver outcomes within tight timelines Experience in providing secretariat and logistical support for meetings Demonstrated awareness, understanding and respect for Aboriginal culture Willing to travel to all parts of the Red Lily jurisdiction (including flights in light aircraft) A satisfactory Police check and a current Working with Children's Card is mandatory for this position Desirable skills Experience in the Indigenous health sector Work experience in the community-controlled sector Formal qualifications in administrative services Please note: Employment with Red Lily Health will be conditional on the employee providing NT Working with Children Check and satisfactory police clearance (by SAFE NT).
