The Digital and Technology Services team provides, Internet and mobile communications, application and all related technology support across the Council. The Information Governance and Cyber Security team is part of Digital and Technology Services Department and manages corporate records and Information governance.
About the role
As the Business Support Officer plays as a key member of our team, your role will be essential in supporting all facets of our department's operations. From administrative duties to project management tasks, you will play a central role in ensuring seamless continuity in our day-to-day administrative processes.
Other responsibilities include: Administration of data entry, invoicing and reporting for the departmentSupporting the leadership teamLiaising across Glen Eira's departments regarding system updates/improvementsProviding excellent customer service to internal/external staff and community membersHow you'll make an impact
You will demonstrate your expertise in seamlessly managing multiple administrative tasks while efficiently supporting daily operations. Your proactive approach will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service and promoting effective communication across the department.
The following is also required:
Relevant previous experience working within a similar role.Experience in a customer orientated role.Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office products.Knowledge of financial software systems and experience raising purchase orders.Interview information
