Cairns Private Hospital has an opportunity for a Business Support Officer to assist in our Finance Department.
The role would be suited to an accounting student or someone with previous office experience looking for a part-time flexible position. About the Role The focus of this role is to provide support and assistance to the commercial functions of the administrative and clinical teams. This position requires a background in finance with the ability to oversee:
Patient invoicing and receipting Accounts payable processes Accounts receivable processes Banking and cash processing General and subsidiary ledger clearing and reconciliation End of month reporting. About You We are seeking a highly organised, enthusiastic professional with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Your strong administration skillset, attention to detail and accuracy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be critical for this role.
Your Skills and Experience High level of competency in Microsoft Suite programs is essential with particular focus on excel Experience in finance administration is desirable Experience with SAP Accounting package is advantageous Meditech Patient Management System experience is desirable Experience with Blue Chip Accounting package is desirable Demonstrated ability to meet reporting deadlines. Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $31.49 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
