About the Role:
The Business Support Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the business support functions, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and overall success. This role encompasses various responsibilities overseeing the teams and functional leads including Human Resources, Health, Safety, and Environment, IT and Systems, ISO Audits / Document Control, and Office Management. Note: This position does not include responsibility for Finance, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Production or Warehousing.

Areas of the business the role oversees: Business Partner, Leadership and Continuous Improvement Responsible for the strategic and operational functions of the business services business unit Human resources management Accountable for the management of culture, talent acquisition, employee relations, IR legislation & training of RUD people Health, Safety & Environment Management - Accountable for Health, Safety and Environment Management and compliance at RUD Management of the ICT Infrastructure Office Management - Accountable for the smooth operation of the office daily to ensure organisational effectiveness and efficiency Management of RUD's Integrated Management System (IMS) - Accountable for overseeing and maintaining RUD's IMS in order to comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, AS/NZS 4801 & ISO/IEC 17025 standards, (NATA) Culture:

Skills, Qualifications and Other Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field (preferred) Minimum 10 years of experience in business services function An interest and proficiency in IT systems and applications. Experience with ISO standards and auditing aligned with ISO 14001 and AS/NZ 45001 preferred Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
