Full Time Business Support role – 38hrs per week.

The Role The business support role serves as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
The role provides administrative and operational assistance and plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of daily business operations by managing tasks such as handling correspondence, receiving phone calls and managing all front desk duties.

Self-motivated, accountable, professional and reliableCommitted to a positive and inclusive workplace cultureFlexible and resourceful approach to problem solving and decision makingAble to remain calm in challenging or stressful situationsHonest in personal and professional relationshipsCommitted to continuous learning and processesWhat is required to be successful: Demonstrated experience in a similar roleStrong customer service background with the ability to deal with a diverse range of individuals (face to face and phone)High level computer literacy with experience in word processing, calendar management software (Outlook) and database applicationsWillingness to contribute to a busy team environmentCommitted to continuous learningA relevant qualification in Business/clerical studies or Certificate 3 in Aged, Community or Disability Care or equivalent would be an advantageAccountabilities and Responsibilities – Core Functions Provide front of house face to face receptionist servicesProvide a customer focused telephone answering service, answering and directing phone calls, making phone callsTaking & distributing messages, handling inquiries and incoming work requestsReviewing files and records to support queries etc.Checking and distributing documents and correspondenceReceiving, sorting and distributing incoming mail including maintaining Administration e-mailboxPreparing and sending outgoing mail and packages, and maintain mail registersComplete filing tasks, maintain filing systems and archivesPhotocopying, scanning and faxing and sending emailsMonitoring and ordering inventory of office suppliesDaily BankingUpdating and maintaining databasesPrinting of all support and promotional material and other documents as requiredPurchase and maintain staff amenitiesKeeping office area neat and tidyApplications close by COB 29th November 2024.
