Job Description - Business Solutions Analyst (240001MY)About the roleWe are looking for a Business Solutions Analyst to drive impactful business analysis, collaborating with stakeholders to design and implement end-to-end solutions that address complex business challenges and emerging opportunities. You will ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards while supporting system stability and applying robust project management and business analysis frameworks.Build and maintain strong relationships with end-users, stakeholders, and technology partners, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations effectively.Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse business processes, define desired outcomes, and facilitate workshops to ensure alignment with project goals and system requirements.Assist in managing project scope, change requests, and contribute to the development of business cases, estimates, and risk assessments, ensuring adherence to project management frameworks.Assess legal impacts on business processes, recommend operational improvements, and ensure that systems comply with relevant regulations and legal frameworks.Review and interpret testing plans and results, assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure that system defects are identified, tracked, and rectified.Maintain a central library for business and system documents, ensuring traceability of business requirements, and contribute to knowledge management systems.About youYou are a collaborative and accountable team player who builds strong, trusting relationships with colleagues and business partners. You demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, use effective communication to influence others, and prioritise business objectives while maintaining a focus on quality and continuous improvement.Expertise in business analysis tasks, writing business/functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other design artifacts like use cases and prototypes.Knowledge of Customer/Human-Centered Design, prototyping, and process modelling (BABOK).Experience with software development methodologies such as AGILE and Waterfall.Familiarity with data modelling, data warehousing, and technology infrastructure.Knowledge of Project Management frameworks (PMBOK, PRINCE2) and testing methodologies, including UAT processes and strategies.Why join RACQ?It is an exciting time to be part of RACQ as we continue our transformation towards better, smarter solutions that deliver more security and prosperity for Queenslanders.
