Business Services Senior Accountant - Family Friendly HoursAbout This Very Family Friendly Firm
Having been established in the Newcastle area for a number of years, this firm is looking to expand on what they can deliver to their broad client base. They feel the time is right to bring on board a mature and friendly accountant to join their small team.
Identifying the importance of investing in and supporting their people, this firm also feels it is important to provide ongoing training and development. With experienced and approachable Managers coupled with patient and motivated partners, this firm achieves this with ease.
Their Expectations of the Role
Along with the requirements of a normal business services role in a small firm, you will also need to be flexible at times due to the size of the organization. This might mean meeting a few clients in person, providing assistance to others within the office, or simply picking up the phone when it rings.
Technology-wise, the firm is fairly up to date. They are using XPM internally, while most of their client base has moved across to Xero.
One of the key things they need is someone that is comfortable communicating with clients, as this will essentially take pressure off the Managers and Partners.
This position may be ideal for someone seeking more flexibility or simply looking to reduce the pressures of their current role. You would be joining a close-knit mature team.
