Business Services Manager

About the RoleLead Group is seeking an experienced Accountant to serve as Manager for its growing Business Services Division in Brisbane. As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and develop a unique blend of taxation, management accounting, and professional services skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, FBT, or payroll tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts.Utilize a range of accounting software, including Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks, to deliver high-quality services.Provide tax planning and business advisory services to clients, analyzing financial and non-financial information to assist clients in monitoring performance.Develop strong relationships with clients and seek to further these relationships through quality product delivery.Recognize potential additional work opportunities among current clients and actively promote the firm and its services to both clients and associates.Manage team training and mentoring, with responsibilities to help grow the team's knowledge and contribute to the business as a whole.Coordinate with other experts engaged in projects, managing multi-jurisdiction teams.Requirements5+ years' experience in Business Services, with strong technical skills.Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar, with completed CA/CPA qualifications.Solid understanding of accounting standards and reporting responsibilities.Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Expertise using accounting software, including APS, MYOB, and cloud-based tools, such as Xero and QuickBooks.Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency status, or work rights in Australia.About Lead GroupLead Group actively supports career progression and offers structured training events and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
