The Business Services Lead is responsible for leading business activities including public administration, finance, procurement, strategic governance and innovation.The role requires a systems thinker with strong technical, analytical skills, an aptitude for project management and a candidate who enjoys working as a part of a small team.
The role will often require direct engagement with stakeholders so an excellent communicator and collaborator is preferred, with strong stakeholder management, and a candidate who can consult purposefully with stakeholders from across government.Minimum Requirements:A relevant tertiary degree/qualification/professional membership in a relevant field is highly desirable.Demonstrated experience in finance, business management, procurement, risk and human resource management.Problem solving experience and well-developed organisational and stakeholder relationship skills.Experience in planning and managing complex workflow and processes.Good interpersonal skills, sound judgement and discretion in dealing with sensitive matters.In-depth understanding of and demonstrated commitment to integrity, probity and ethical conduct.This is a fixed term position available for a period of 24 months.
