RoleThe Business Services Lead manages the centralised Business Services team within the Barwon South West Grampians division of Transport Services, part of the Department of Transport and Planning.
This team supports the region through various responsibilities, including fleet management, coordination of correspondence, briefings, and parliamentary matters, managing Notices of Incident Claims, Freedom of Information requests, legal requests, facilities and asset management, general administrative support, business improvement, and occupational health, safety, and wellbeing.The Business Services Lead must demonstrate strong leadership, excellent stakeholder engagement, and independent judgement to address issues promptly.
Ideally, the candidate will hold qualifications in Business, Safety, Business Improvement, or General Management.
To access thePosition Description, Position Outcomes / Accountabilities Strategically support Regional Services Manager, the region and the division to provide high level administrative services.Business Support – Effectively led the business support team to deliver best practice services to the satisfaction of internal stakeholders / recipients of the service as evidenced by positive feedback.Business Improvement – Effectively led the business improvement function to deliver best practice process improvement and efficiency improvements across the division.Safety Culture - Safety has been embedded in all facets of the work that is undertaken in the region.
