Business Services Assistant (BSA)We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time Business Services Assistant (BSA) to join our Perth team.
The role has a 'hands-on' involvement with all the functional tasks and responsibilities, particularly in operational areas including search and lodgement, printing/photocopying/scanning, mail, couriers, fax, stationery, printer fleet management, disbursements and recoveries, purchasing, premises and maintenance, moves, archiving, security card management, environmental/energy initiatives and relevant business continuity plans.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad range of duties within the Business Centre such as:
Assist and respond to all queries in a pleasant, helpful and professional mannerPrinting, photocopying, scanning and document finishing (e.g. binding, laminating etc.)Sorting, delivery, collection and distribution of mail, including incoming and outgoing couriersPurchase, stocktake and management of all stationery, mail and courier consumablesArrange contractors for any tenancy repairs and maintenance servicesLiaise with Building Management for security and premises requestsUndertake Work Health and Safety (WHS) inspections and ensuring contractor's insurances, MSDS and other WHS paperwork is up-to-date in our systemAssist with Search and Lodgements including attending settlements offsiteProcess supplier invoices and recharge costs to the matter(s)Assist in maintaining printer fleet and escalating issues when requiredAssist with input of data for national monthly reportsAssist with national and local projectsIdentify opportunities to improve processes and practices to enhance the service offeringWork closely with other team members to ensure a seamless operationOther ad hoc duties as requiredWe welcome applicants who have: Experience in a similar role in a professional environmentStrong customer service experience and focusExcellent time management and organisational skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to liaise with people at all levelsSolutions-focused and confident to use initiative to make decisionsProficient in MS Office suiteAn ability and willingness to undertake physical and mobile work (you won't be sitting at a desk all day, every day!)To be successful in this role you must have a high level of initiative, attention to detail and enthusiasm. Ideally, you will also have experience working in an ever-changing environment.
