Despite this being a 12 month parental leave contract role, you will be welcomed as an integral part of the organisation. You will provide local office management to the Newcastle team as well as contributing as a shared resource in the Business Services Team. This includes, but is not limited to:Microsoft Word document proof reading and formatting utilising advanced Microsoft Word;Data entry and invoicing – using ERP software (Deltek Vision);System administration and in house support;Booking travel and coordinating equipment and supplies for consultants' field trips to remote parts of Australia;Credit card reconciliations;Maintaining a smooth running office including occasional errands and maintaining office supplies;Coordinating team social events;Participating in team meetings and contributing to the ongoing enhancement of business services;Special projects work - we have many areas where you can make great contributions to stimulating projects across our business, based on your skills and interest areas, for example marketing and social media.This is an office-based role that supports our professional team. While primarily onsite, a work-from-home day may be possible when coordinated with the team's schedule. We also offer some flexibility, to help you balance work with personal commitments.This is a 12 month contract role commencing in January 2025, with a substantial handover period from January to approximately April 2025.About YouIdeally from a legal, professional consulting, executive assistance or high level administration background, you will have comprehensive expertise in business services support. With intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word experience (and the opportunity to advance these skills through refresher training if required), you will be competent with ToC, Referencing, Figures and Tables.Proficiency in software programs such as ERPs or complex CRMs, and an affinity for utilising business technology will be essential. Experience in using Deltek Vision would be an advantage.
