Job Description - Business Risk Advisor (240001GY) About the role We are looking for a Business Risk Advisor to join our team, where you will provide First Line Risk advisory and assurance within RACQ Bank.
You will collaborate with the business to align their strategic objectives with robust risk management practices.
Your key responsibilities will be: Stakeholder Engagement: build and maintain effective working relationships with managers at all levels to support and promote effective risk practices and appropriate risk behaviours.
Risk Management Implementation: guide and support the Bank business in adhering to risk management policies, processes, and requirements.
Risk Culture Development: drive a risk-aware culture within the Bank by continuously educating staff about organisational risk.
Senior Leadership Advisory: provide insights, advice, and recommendations to Senior Leaders on risk behaviours, decision-making, and practices.
About you You will be a detail-oriented professional with an enquiring mind and an inquisitive nature, ready to delve into issues and practices with tenacity.
You will bring a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills to our team, overcoming any obstacles in the pursuit of solutions.
As an ideal candidate, you will have the following: Proven experience within banking and/or risk & compliance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in writing professional reports.
Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships at all levels.
Strong organisational, time management, and prioritisation skills.
Able to identify and analyse critical problems to uncover hidden insights.
