The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) is seeking to recruit multiple Business Register Analyst (APS6) within the Business Register Unit (BRU).
About The Area And RoleThe Business Register Unit, in the Statistical Infrastructure Division, manages a high quality, real world, real time statistical business register (ABS Business Register) that enables coherent and integrated data series.
The ABS Business Register supports economic surveys, business demography information and data integration programs, to enable the production of high-quality statistics and timely new insights.
As a Business Register Analyst, you will manage a team to maintain, quality assure and develop the Business Register data asset using various datasets (incl.
ATO, ABR, ASIC, APRA, etc), through data cleaning, data coding, data linking, and statistical analysis.
