Personalised Plates Queensland (PPQ) works together with the Department of Transport and Main Roads and is responsible for the marketing and sales of personalised number plates throughout the state.
The energetic PPQ Team have a passion for plates and a genuine interest in helping Queenslanders express themselves on the road.
Proceeds from the sale of plates support road safety initiatives in Queensland.
Job DescriptionPurpose of the role: The Business Process Specialist will analyse, design, and improve business processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within PPQ.
This role involves collaborating with various departments to understand their processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions that align with our strategic objectives to improve productivity and seamless business continuity.
You'll be responsible for: Reviewing existing processes, tools and systems to developing a deep understanding their current state.Evaluating existing business processes and state of affairs through data analysis, interviews, and observation.Working closely with various stakeholders across the business, gathering and documenting business requirements.Developing detailed process maps, workflows and policies.In collaboration with the General Manager and other relevant stakeholders, establishing KPIs to measure the success of introduced process improvements.Monitoring and reporting on their progress, providing recommendations for further enhancements.Review, update, create and maintain comprehensive documentation.
QualificationsThe person we're looking for: Experienced in business process improvement.Has a 'knack' for problem-solving, identifying improvements and simplifying designs of new processes incorporating people, process and technology impacts.Capable of listening to people and synthesizing information.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and succinctly.An understanding of technical project delivery and change management methodologies.The ability to build relationships with others easily.Additional InformationWhat we can offer you!
