We are seeking a passionate, collaborative process design expert to support process mapping, process improvement, and service transformation enabled through our Digital Transformation Program. This role will focus on establishing future state visions for services and processes and collaborating with implementation partners and process owners to identify business rules and requirements to enable the configuration of our enabling technology.In this role, you will be responsible for documenting, reviewing and validating future-state business processes that will be rolled out with the digital transformation of our organisation, using TechnologyOne Ci Anywhere.What you'll be doing:Assist in workshops and collaborative sessions to assess the change from current to target state business processes and roles.Work closely with business and IT teams to understand system capabilities and ensure process design is optimized for efficiency.Develop detailed process maps, workflow diagrams, and related documentation for future-state processes.Support meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and validate process maps.Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of business needs and requirements.Address feedback and incorporate necessary changes into process maps.Assist in establishing documentation standards for process mapping and ensure consistency in format and terminology.Create and maintain a centralized repository for all process-related documentation.Train relevant teams on the use of process documentation and standards.Collaborate with the Change Management team to develop strategies for transitioning from current to future processes.Identify and communicate the impact of process changes on various stakeholders.Provide support and resources for training programs and user support related to process changes.Provide support and artefacts for User Acceptance Testing.The skills and experience you'll bring to the role:Strong commercial experience in business process design, analysis, or improvementProficiency in business process modelling techniques and toolsStrong skills in data analysis and interpretationExperience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and process optimization techniquesExcellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProficiency in business process management (BPM) software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Visio and ExcelStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levelsAnalytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilitiesKnowledge of various business functions (e.g., finance, HR, operations) and industry-specific processesCertifications in Lean Six Sigma, BPMN, or similar process improvement methodologies (preferred)Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and handle changing prioritiesWhy Hume City Council?A leader in local government, we're committed to creating an inclusive and collaborative work environment that is guided by our values:We're better, every day: We give things a go and value progress over perfection.
