Business Process Analyst

The Opportunity Davidson are partnering with our esteemed client within the education sector who are seeking a Business/Process Analyst to support the implementation of a new Student Management System (SMS). This opportunity is a 12 month Fixed-Term Contract with scope for extension as this program is set to span over several years. The Role As a Business/Process Analyst you will lead and be responsible for mapping the "As Is" and "To Be" state of the system and process lifecycle, as well as identifying system requirements and documenting, and mapping processes. Key Responsibilities: Documenting and proposing business workflows, systems and end user requirements to inform the design and deployment of system solutions. Simplifying, automating and reducing risk of errors for future state of processes Assisting in the creation of test cases and scenarios to coordinate system testing, including go-live support and post development of new systems. Encouraging knowledge transfer by documenting activities and continuous improvements. Collaborating with the Solutions Architects, Technical Business Analysts, Developers and Internal Stakeholders as a central point of contact. About You To be a successful applicant, you will have previous experience as a Process Analyst working across Student Management Systems (SMS), or within the education sector. You will also have: Demonstrated experience working as a Business/Process Analyst within agile environments managing requirement elicitation, organising workshops, process mapping and analysis, etc. Experience in developing and executing test plans and cases to ensure successful solution delivery. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with the ability to work well under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
