About the role We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Partner – People and Culture to join our team. As a key point of contact for people expertise across a corporate and operational business area, this role is crucial in translating our strategic vision into practical, everyday realities. Working collaboratively with stakeholders and the people centres of expertise, you will design and implement strategies that drive optimal workforce performance in alignment with the PTA's strategic goals and people policies.
In this role, you will actively support organisational change and foster innovative ways of working. You will challenge assumptions, look at the bigger picture; and with your expertise diagnose complex people-related issues ensuring workforce strategies are implemented effectively.
We are looking for someone with substantial expertise in delivering contemporary HR management services and demonstrated success in providing strategic HR advice, coaching, and change management. Strong business acumen, coupled with excellent project and consultancy skills with the ability to lead and influence others, combined with outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, will be key.
About You! To excel in this role, you should possess:
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience, with substantial expertise in delivering a broad range of contemporary HR services and a commitment to customer service excellence.Proven experience providing strategic HR advice and coaching at all management levels, with a strong understanding of change management principles and workforce programs.Highly developed leadership and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to partner, motivate, and lead organisational and cultural change while building positive working relationships.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to manage competing demands and deliver results through effective time and project management.About Us The Public Transport Authority's (PTA) vision is to be recognised as a leader in providing world-class public transport services and solutions.
