About the RoleAs a Business Partner you'll play a key role by partnering with the business to understand and translate the business strategy and key requirements into property solutions and to facilitate solutions that are delivered to the satisfaction of the business without diminishing customer or employee experience.
The Business Partner can guide the BU to consider new ideas or demonstrate, with the use of data, improvements/efficiencies to assist the Bank in both use of space and workplace experience.
This role will assume responsibility for a consistent approach to engagement & capture of outcomes, as well as assisting the Area Lead in the mix & distribution of workload.
Management of key senior leaders of the bank to clearly understand the BU operations to ensure strategies and solutions represent 'best practice' in terms of workplace enablement and enhances the end user experience.
Enjoying working as a team, both within the business and property team, this role will naturally see the importance of building & effectively managing stakeholder relationships to achieve business goals.
What will your day look like?As a Property Business Partner, you will:
With the Strategy and Design team, define and manage occupancy changes on behalf of the Business Unit delivering on key time, cost and quality elements.Working collaboratively with alliance partners ensure approved strategies are implemented within agreed time and cost parameters.
Proactively develop and manage the relationship with the client/occupants to ensure property services delivery expectations are met and/or exceeded.
Undertake pro-active planning to understand and develop strategic property solutions to support client (BU) requirements (including asset and/or network planning) that take into consideration current & future business requirements coupled with property principles.
First Point of contact for management of issues/complaints escalated by end-users (Customers or staff).
Work with the business to ensure that the change is embedded and adding value to the business as anticipated.
Proactively liaise with all stakeholders to ensure all accommodation data is accurate in property databases & financial systems.
Prepare regular portfolio management reports, within specified timeframes, detailing property status and performance including recommendations on property management issues.
Management & monitoring of relocation & project plans developed & implemented to support relocation &/or investment activity including plans & reports developed by third party suppliers.
Ensure capital works (refurbishment & new projects) are in keeping with established property design guidelines and accommodation KPIs.
Work collaboratively with Customers, Facilities Managers, Leasing Managers & property services Contractors (delivery team) to ensure accommodation expectations are met.

This includes identifying, planning for, tracking and resolving dependencies.Building, maintaining and influencing relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.Helping to foster a healthy working culture.
Enabling and facilitating a safe and supportive work or team environment, where our people are inspired and motivated to grow, thrive and deliver value.Executing tasks and contracts to source and procure products and/or services from vendors and other suppliers.
This includes policy and internal standards as well as monitoring the performance and financial impacts of the contract or service.You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
