Your Role: The main purpose of the role is to underwrite Business Package policies transacted via Chubb's market facing platforms and provide high quality service to brokers.
The role also provides support in general tasks including managing the team inbox, coordinating renewals, account queries, cancellations and resetting policies.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract role.
Your Responsibilities: Service and Broker Relationships Provide high quality service to brokers including turnaround times, telephone answer rate, call back etc. Establish relationships with key brokers including identifying new opportunities. Ensure brokers and all stakeholders are kept up to date through regular communication. Underwriting and General Tasks Underwrite referrals within authority statement in accordance with the guidelines for new business, renewals and endorsements. Make recommendations for acceptance or declination of risks including those that exceed authority. Provide input on portfolio analysis, profitability, premium planning, market and environment analysis, process and systems effectiveness and efficiency, post acceptance monitoring etc. Maintain awareness of claim activity and liaise with stakeholders. Manage the team inbox, coordinate renewals, assist with account queries, cancellations and resetting policies. Maintain open communication with internal departments on risks, coverage's, exposures, service problems and losses. Financial Achieve the financial targets including new business, rate, retention, optimal portfolio mix and loss ratio.
